Kal Penn, (de son véritable nom Kalpen Suresh Modi), est un acteur et producteur américain né le 23 avril 1977 à Montclair, dans le New Jersey, aux (États-Unis).
Il est surtout connu pour son rôle de Kumar Patel dans la trilogie Harold & Kumar, et celui de Lawrence Kutner dans la série médicale Dr House.
