Synopsis

Le bandit Calder et sa bande de hors-la-loi arrivent dans le comté de Ruger au Texas. Calder, bien décidé à apprendre à lire, enlève l'institutrice mais c'est en fait l'épouse de Ruger, potentat qui a donné son nom à la région. Lorsque celui-ci apprend le rapt de sa femme, une immense chasse à l'homme commence...
