Synopsis

Harcelée par un ex-mari violent, Hwa-Sun le tue accidentellement en tentant de défendre sa fille. Suk-Go, son voisin, taciturne, reclus, mais brillant mathématicien, a tout entendu de la dispute et son dénouement fatal. Secrètement amoureux d'elle, il n'hésite pas un seul instant et court lui proposer son aide pour confondre la police.
