Hunger Games
Adapted from Suzanne Collins’ novels, the Hunger Games saga follows Katniss Everdeen’s journey in a dystopian future where the Capitol controls the districts through deadly annual games. The first film (The Hunger Games, 2012) introduces the cruel concept of the Hunger Games, a televised fight to the death used to entertain and instill fear.
The saga continues with Catching Fire (2013) and the two-part finale Mockingjay – Part 1 & 2 (2014-2015), where Katniss becomes the symbol of rebellion against oppression, blending action, strategy, and emotional depth.
With its mix of survival, social critique, and human drama, Hunger Games has left a lasting impact, featuring a strong heroine and universal themes of resistance and justice in a corrupt world.
